My boys

Carson is my little buddy, I really do feel like he is my friend. He helps me out so much, especially with Max. Whenever I ask him to do something for Max, he does so willingly. He loves his baby brother so much. On Saturday mornings I always hear a thump - Carson jumping off the bed, then the door shuts, the music turns on and Max is entertained for about a half hour. I go into the room to find all three of the boys inside Max's crib laughing and playing around. What a fun thing for a mom to see! They are such good friends (for the most part). He loves school and looks forward to lunchtime. He loves to write on anything that he is allowed to. He is such a people person and loves playing with his brother, cousins and friends. My boys are as different as the color of their hair. I know it's an odd analogy but I find it funny that their hair color is so different. I feel so blessed that I get to be their mom and I pray every day that I can be a "mother who knows" to teach my children values, to know who they are and to have the courage to stand up for what's right.

Little Max is such a sweet little boy. He has been sick pretty much all winter. It started right before Christmas with a double ear infection. We tried a few different antibiotics and they didn't work so they finally had to give him a shot, so far so good. Not to mention the coughing, runny nose and throwing up. Oh well, it can't last forever! He has been teething for the last month getting four teeth in at once. He lights up when one of his brothers enters the room and if they leave he quickly crawls after them. He loves to be around them. As soon as he hears music he gets on his knees and bounces up and down to the beat. He is such a happy boy and we love to hear his cute little laugh. He crawls everywhere and is pulling himself up to things. One of his favorite things to do is to pull out all the heater vents and empty anything he can, drawers, laundry baskets, cabinets etc. The boys absolutely adore him, and made that very evident after they returned from a weekend in St. George with Grandma and Grandpa. When they got home Max was the one they were most excited to see. Austin is the funniest little boy. He has his Dad's sense of humor. He loves to make jokes and tease people, he is always making us laugh. He does what he wants to do and never thinks too hard about things. He just likes to have fun. He loves going to pre-school and asks me every morning if it's a school day. The excitement on his face when he gets to do something fun is so fun to watch. When he gets excited over something he usually runs to Max to tell him all about it and he starts to clap Max's hands together so he will be just as happy for him. I love when we are in the car and he does his most serious thinking, he always has the funniest things to say. He asked me on Sunday, "Mom when is it ever going to stop snowing?" I answered that I wasn't sure and as he looked out the window with a sigh he said, "it's never going to be springville." He keeps us laughing!
Oh and a special thanks to my friend Melissa for taking the pictures of the boys! I was so pleased with how they turned out! She's a great photographer!
